The planning committee for the Great Lakes International Aviation Conference, in conjunction with some of the nation's preeminent maintenance organizations, has strived to offer the most comprehensive, instructional, interesting, and fun maintenance event of its kind. The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) has recognized the GLIAC as a sanctioned regional event.

While renewal requirements have changed for all IA's to every second year, the training requirements have not changed. A/P Mechanics with IA privileges may obtain eight hours of FAA approved instruction per year for renewal. We offer eight hours of training on both Friday and Saturday of the conference. What is unique about the GLIAC is that we offer five or six different topics in each of the eight sessions. This allows you to choose the topics that interest you, and those that best suit your needs or desires.

Every IA, A&P, Director of Maintenance, Parts Manager, and Parts Purchaser should attend this event, even if an IA renewal is not necessary. In fact, a large segment of our attendees are those professionals who do not need to have their IA renewed, but want to learn the latest techniques and tips to solve the problems that they face day to day. Whether you are a maintenance technician running your own shop at a small airport, or part of a large maintenance department, you will find relevant topics at the GLIAC.

If you have not experienced the conference yet, you only need to attend once to realize all that you have been missing. The Conference offers you many opportunities to interact and socialize with the Midwest's aviation community. We feature over 150 different exhibitors! The industry representatives will be there to talk to you and answer all of your questions.

We will post the scheduled topics over the next several months as we tailor the latest information to best suit your needs-check back often to examine those sessions that will save you time and money. Avoid customer grief and aggravation and learn all of the latest techniques and resources available to you.
